Youtube to Ban Videos with Violence!
Youtube will now ban video that incites violence after receiving a criticism from a Politician. Youtube started its cleaning up early this year and strictly implementing its stand against violence and terrorism. There where videos removed but some are not because they might not violated the guidelines against graphic violence or hate speech.
Now videos that incites violence are banned, more videos are lines up for review and may be removed.
“YouTube reviews its content guidelines a few times a year, and we take the community’s input seriously,” YouTube spokesman Ricardo Reyes said. “The senator made some good points.”
Hundreds of thousands videos every day where uploaded to Youtube — the company says it cannot monitor what gets posted. Instead, it relies on users to flag videos that violate its “Community Guidelines.”
YouTube encourages free speech and defends everyone’s right to express unpopular points of view,” the company said in a statement at the time.
